ABOUT

I’m Vanessa Mogensen, a designer at heart and a strategist in the making.

 

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Louisiana State University, where I completed a CIDA-accredited program and minored in Sociology. That combination design and the study of people shaped how I see the world: as a place where environments, systems, and relationships all intersect to influence how we live, work, and connect.

 

Today, I’m pursuing my MBA at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to expand my skills in leadership, organizational development, and business strategy. I’m especially interested in human-centered problem solving, team dynamics, and creating thoughtful experiences that bring both structure and empathy into the process.

 

Outside of work and school, I enjoy photography, working with my hands through pottery and ceramics, and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. I find creativity in everyday moments and love making things whether it’s a meal, a design, or something entirely new.
